The Big Wood Pickleball League is the BIGGEST league in the valley. Last year, we hosted 14 teams with over 190 players of all skill levels.
Are you looking for a way to play fun pickleball and meet new people? Whether you are a beginner, intermediate, or advanced player, the BIG WOOD Pickleball League is the place to be. The league offers a fun, social, and slightly competitive environment for the entire Wood River Valley, all for “shots and giggles.”

What a season! The BIG WOOD Pickleball League ended on a high note with exciting matches, incredible rallies, and, most importantly, tons of fun. Every team came out ready to play their best, and the spirit of camaraderie was just as strong as the competition.
A huge thank-you goes out to all of our players for your energy and enthusiasm, and to our General Managers who coached, practiced, and cheered right alongside you throughout the 7-week league. You made this season one to remember!
We also couldn’t have done it without our wonderful hosts — The Valley Club, Sun Valley Tennis & Pickleball Center, and Atkinson Park — who generously opened up their courts. And of course… a BIG shout-out to the WRPA Board, and some on the team that were the glue that held this season together.

Beyond the scores and standings, this season was about so much more: spectacular ATPs, crazy-good shots, practices filled with laughter, and new friendships across the Valley. That’s the magic of pickleball, and it was on full display all season long.
